The High Rise Apartments are the largest single residence on the Wesleyan University campus, housing close to 180 students — typically juniors. The fire code capacity per apartment is 4 people. As a full apartment with private kitchen and bathroom per unit, High Rise offers the most independent living experience available in Wesleyan's residential housing system. The building rises 8 floors. No dedicated AC (building was constructed before 1978). A popular choice for juniors making the transition from dorm to apartment living.
