About Stewart Hall

Stewart Hall is a small three-story residence at Whitworth University built in 1963, housing only 38 students (19 men and 19 women on separate floors) in a distinctive suite arrangement: two single rooms (9' × 16'8") are joined by a shared common room forming each suite. Named for Rev. Calvin W. Stewart, Whitworth's president 1890–98. Renovated in 2000 with new carpet, lounge furniture, and indoor bicycle storage. The small population and unique room configuration create an exceptionally close residential community. No air conditioning.
