[First-Year Quad West] Built in 1858 (replacing Old North College after the 1857 fire) and renovated in 2003, Williston Hall is a classic first-year residence on the west side of the quad. Mid-sized and social, it offers a good balance of community and accessibility. One of the original Amherst buildings, it carries the same historical weight as its neighbors while being consistently well-maintained.
