Hillside West comprises six lettered residential buildings (A through F) within CSULB's Hillside Village, each housing approximately 45–100 students. Double-occupancy corridor-style rooms with communal bathrooms shared among 6–7 students (hall-accessed, not in-suite). No air conditioning in bedrooms — ceiling fans are provided, and common areas have cooling. Hillside West also includes the International House (I-House) community in a separate building.
