About La Playa

La Playa is a new three-building residential community (Tides Hall, Shores Hall, and Palms Hall) opening Fall 2026 within CSULB's Hillside Village. Approximately 420 total beds, five stories per building with elevator access. Double-occupancy corridor-style rooms with confirmed air conditioning. Each floor features men's, women's, and two all-gender single-use bathrooms. Located in Hillside Village near the existing Hillside East buildings.
