Wohlford Hall is one of CMC's original North Quad residence halls, opened around 1950 and renovated in 1989 and 2003. It houses 72 students in 36 double-occupancy rooms spread across two floors, with every four rooms sharing a bathroom suite — the characteristic North Quad arrangement. Like Boswell, Appleby, and Green Hall, room doors open directly to the outdoors rather than to interior hallways, giving the quad a relaxed, courtyard-community feel. There is no in-room air conditioning; a shared air-conditioned lounge provides relief during the region's warm months. The north side of Wohlford features a patio and a stretch of lawn that serves as an informal social gathering spot.
