About Averill Hall
Averill Hall is one of Colby's first-year corridor residence halls, centrally located near Miller Library on Mayflower Hill. The building has a lounge with adjoining study room and is a short walk from Dana dining hall. Room types include singles, doubles, and triples with communal bathrooms per floor. Colby's Mayflower Hill campus is one of the most beautifully planned college campuses in New England — a deliberate mid-century masterplan of Georgian brick buildings surrounded by 714 acres of woods and fields. Averill residents are steps from the library and the heart of campus, with the surrounding Maine countryside visible from almost every window.
