East Quad encompasses Small, Champlin, and Butler Halls — three connected corridor-style buildings built in 1946 and extensively remodeled in 1998 and 2021. The East Quad faces Miller Library and has views of Johnson Pond from upper floors. It's centrally located on Mayflower Hill, making it one of the most convenient residential locations on campus. The 2021 remodel updated systems, common spaces, and bathrooms while preserving the classic Georgian brick aesthetic. East Quad houses a mix of class years and is one of the most socially active residential clusters on the Hill — the pond views, library proximity, and central location make it perennially popular.
