The Paramount Center occupies the upper four floors of a nine-story complex at 555 Washington Street centering on the fully restored historic Paramount Theatre — a 1932 art deco cinema transformed into a 590-seat live-performance venue. The 260 residents share their building with the Jackie Liebergott Black Box Theatre, the Bright Family Screening Room, rehearsal rooms, and faculty offices. Opened in 2010 following a collaboration between Acentech, BOND, and Elkus Manfredi Architects. For students in film, theater, and media arts, living directly above professional-grade performance and production spaces is a defining feature of the Paramount experience.
