About Piano Row

Piano Row is Emerson's 14-story suite-style residence hall at 150 Boylston Street, housing 558 students in two- to three-room suites. Each suite includes a shared bathroom, common living space, and a kitchenette sink. The building also serves as Emerson's student life hub, housing the Max Mutchnick Campus Center (named for the Will & Grace co-creator and Emerson alumnus), the Brown and Plofker Gym, and the C-Store at the Max convenience market and grill on the second floor. The Writer's Block Learning Community is based in Piano Row.
