Gentry Hall is the largest hall in Lamar University's Cardinal Village complex, opened in 2001 (Phase I), and home to the Housing & Residence Life administrative office. Students live in two-bedroom suites — two private bedrooms sharing a bathroom that includes two sinks, a vanity medicine cabinet, a separate shower/tub room, and a separate toilet room. Suites are fully furnished. Part of Cardinal Village, a contiguous 2,500-bed residential complex where all five halls share amenities: a pool, sand volleyball court, basketball court, full kitchens on each floor, and free in-unit washers/dryers. Brooks-Shivers Dining Hall is nearby on campus. No dedicated dining hall within the hall itself.
