Singleton House opened in 2021 as part of Lehigh's landmark $100M investment in new residential housing. Along with Hitch House and Maida House, it forms a three-building residential complex housing 405 students total. The complex was named after Charlot and Dennis Singleton (Class of '66), generous donors to the project. Singleton houses students in 3- or 4-person semi-suites: two bedrooms share an adjoining private bathroom. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and the building is all-gender throughout. The design prioritizes community — there are large common lounges on each floor, collaborative study spaces, outdoor terraces, and a central gathering hub connecting the three buildings. This is widely considered the best undergraduate housing at Lehigh. The modern construction, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and beautifully designed common spaces make Singleton one of the most desirable places to live on campus. Second-year and upperclass students get priority for these spaces.
