Bancroft Hall is the massive dormitory complex at the United States Naval Academy that houses all 4,500 midshipmen under one roof, making it the largest dormitory in the world. The 1st Battalion wing provides traditional Naval Academy corridor-style rooms in the Midshipmen's storied residential home since 1906. Each room is shared by 2-3 midshipmen and follows Naval Academy standards for orderliness and uniformity. Bancroft Hall is the physical and symbolic heart of Naval Academy life, housing dining facilities, meeting rooms, and administrative offices alongside the midshipmen's quarters.
