Sproul Hall is one of UCLA's Classic first-year residence halls on The Hill, a traditional 12-story corridor tower housing approximately 900 students. Named for University of California President Robert Gordon Sproul. Double rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Sproul is positioned on the south side of The Hill and is connected to Hedrick Hall via a pedestrian bridge. Like the other Classic halls, Sproul residents typically eat at Hedrick Dining Hall or De Neve Commons. Known for its strong floor community culture built around the shared bathroom and common room setup.
