Tioga Hall is a first-year John Muir College residence hall located on UCSD's west side, close to Blacks Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Rooms are primarily doubles and triples with shared communal bathrooms per floor. Like all Muir housing, Tioga emphasizes student independence and self-sufficiency consistent with Muir's academic philosophy. Amenities include proximity to the grassy quad, Pines and Roots dining options, Mandeville Center, and RIMAC Pool.
