About Gallo House (Woodlawn)

[Hyde Park — Inside Woodlawn Residential Commons (East wing)] Gallo House is one of UChicago's 48 named houses — a 4-year residential community of about 70 students with its own faculty Resident Heads, lounge, dining table at house dinners, and traditions. Named for Fabrizio and Melanie Gallo, parents Class of 2022. UChicago students are assigned to a house for their entire 4-year undergraduate career; house affiliation persists in the alumni network.
