About Liew House (Woodlawn)

[Hyde Park — Inside Woodlawn Residential Commons (West wing)] Liew House is one of UChicago's 48 named houses — a 4-year residential community of about 70 students with its own faculty Resident Heads, lounge, dining table at house dinners, and traditions. Named for John and Serena Liew, AB'89/MBA'94/PhD'95 and LAB'85/AB'89. UChicago students are assigned to a house for their entire 4-year undergraduate career; house affiliation persists in the alumni network.
