East Quadrangle is one of the University of Michigan's premier residential communities, a suite-style building on East Washington Street that houses both the Residential College (RC) and Lloyd Hall Scholars Program (LHSP) — two of Michigan's most academically distinguished living-learning communities. East Quad's suites group 2–4 students with semi-private bathrooms. No air conditioning. The RC within East Quad is a four-year integrated arts-and-sciences program with its own courses, faculty, and degree requirements, making East Quad one of the most unique residential experiences in the Big Ten.
