South Quad is one of Michigan's largest and most popular first-year dormitories, housing over 1,000 students in corridor-style rooms. Located centrally between the main campus and the athletic campus, South Quad has a large dining hall, a barber shop, study rooms, and a convenience store in-building. Rooms are primarily doubles with shared hall bathrooms. South Quad is known for its lively, diverse community.
