Fletcher Hall is a smaller Central Campus residence hall at the University of Michigan, housing approximately 300 students. Located near the main academic buildings and the Diag, Fletcher offers a more intimate residential experience than the large Hill Area or Quad megadorms. The bathrooms are communal, shared by floor, and the building has no central air conditioning. Fletcher's compact scale makes it easy to form close friendships and to know most of your fellow residents by name. Its proximity to libraries, the Michigan Union, and the main academic buildings makes it one of the most conveniently located dorms on campus for students whose schedules are rooted in Central Campus buildings.
