About Mangum Residence Hall

Mangum Residence Hall is one of UNC's North Campus corridor halls, opened in 1922 as part of the original North Campus residential development. Named for Willie Person Mangum, a U.S. Senator from North Carolina. Traditional corridor-style rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Located on historic North Campus near Wilson Library and the upper campus quad. Primarily upperclass housing.
