About Martin Hall

Martin Hall is one of the University of Scranton's first-year corridor residence halls. All rooms are furnished double-occupancy with Twin XL beds, desks, dressers, and wardrobes or built-in closets. Bathrooms are shared communal facilities on each floor. The building has no central air conditioning (fans are permitted). Residents enjoy free high-efficiency laundry, lounge areas with TVs, wireless internet throughout, and light housekeeping. First-year students are assigned to these halls as part of the university's required freshman residency. Built in 1958, Martin Hall is one of the original University of Scranton residence halls. Its communal floor design fosters the tight-knit freshman community culture Scranton is known for.
