About Harrill Residence Hall

Harrill Residence Hall houses 352 first-year students across 9 floors and was originally built in 1971, then extensively renovated in 2012 to achieve LEED certification. The hall uses a geothermal heating and cooling system. Room configuration is pod-style: double-occupancy rooms (~160 sq ft, 10×16 ft) share a bathroom with the one adjoining room across a small vestibule — a two-room "pod" unit. Each floor has a kitchen, and laundry is available on floors 3, 5, 7, and 9. Study lounges are on floors 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8. A pool table is in the first-floor lobby. Rooms are single-gender; floors are co-ed.
