Fairchild Hall is one of Oberlin's five First Year Residential Experience communities, situated on Elm Street adjacent to the Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies and near South Hall. The hall has an active, social reputation and tends to attract students who enjoy being near the athletic facilities and the south side of campus. It offers a mix of room types along with standard lounge and common areas.
