About Tener Hall

Tener Hall is one of Penn State's 16 East Halls residence halls, named for John Kinley Tener, 27th Governor of Pennsylvania — and one of the few governors to have also played professional baseball (he pitched for the Pittsburgh Alleghenies in 1888). Traditional corridor-style first-year housing with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning.
