About Benedict Hall

Benedict Hall is a corridor-style first-year residence hall in H-Quad, home to the Undergraduate College of Leadership and Service. Like other H-Quad buildings, it offers doubles and triples along shared hallways with communal bathrooms and no air conditioning. The hall has a notable place in campus history — it once housed the "Benedict Saloon," an on-campus bar that operated from 1969 to 1980. The Dallas W. Bauman Center for Leadership and Service, which can accommodate 600 people, serves as the community hub for H-Quad residents.
