Alexander Residence Hall is one of UNC's North Campus corridor halls, built in 1939 and named for Nathaniel Alexander, an early governor of North Carolina. Houses approximately 100 students in traditional corridor-style rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Situated on historic North Campus near Wilson Library and the original 18th-century campus quadrangle. A smaller, quieter hall primarily housing upperclassmen.
