About Winston Residence Hall

Winston Residence Hall is part of UNC's Central Campus residential cluster. Named for George Tayloe Winston, UNC President (1891–1896). Traditional corridor-style double rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Winston is one of the smaller Central Campus halls and is popular with upperclassmen who value proximity to the Wilson Library and academic buildings over South Campus dining and social density.
