Alfred and Beverly Austin Hall is a 9-story first-year residence hall housing more than 540 students, primarily in triple-occupancy rooms with suite-style shared bathrooms. Originally called Crescent Place when it opened in 1998, it was renamed in 2005. Austin Hall sits adjacent to Delo Park — a small green space with outdoor seating and hammock spots — offering some of the best Tampa skyline views from its upper floors. The building features a community game room and lounge on the ground level. Honors program students are clustered on designated floors within Austin, giving those residents a built-in academic peer community. Free HE laundry machines are available in the building. Like all UT residence halls, rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned.
