Morris Hall is named in honor of Thomas Morris, Washington College's first Black graduate — a Baltimore native who excelled academically and in track and field before serving as a Peace Corps volunteer and spending 27 years as a mathematics educator. The hall houses 64 beds across 40 singles and 24 doubles organized in seven-person suites. Each suite contains two double rooms and three single rooms arranged around a shared common room furnished with a couch, full refrigerator, and microwave. Two bathrooms serve each seven-person suite. Morris is fully accessible with an elevator, and all rooms feature individual climate control, wireless internet, and tile flooring. Laundry facilities are on the first floor with costs included in the room rate. Public lounges are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Residents choose whether their suite is gender-designated or gender-inclusive.
