About Butterfield B

Butterfield B is one of three interconnected buildings in the Butterfields complex (A, B, and C), housing first-year and upperclass students together. Like Butterfield A and C, it is a 4-story walk-up with no elevator, limited AC on first floor only, and mostly single-use bathrooms (more private than communal multi-stall setups). The Butterfields share Summerfields dining, a large central courtyard, common kitchens, and study lounges. The "Copenhagens" — a unique application-based living option for 9 groups of 6 sophomores (4 singles + 1 double each) — are distributed across the Butterfields buildings, including several in Butterfield B.
