Butterfield C is the third building in Wesleyan's Butterfields complex (A, B, and C), housing first-year and upperclass students. Like the other Butterfields, it is a 4-story walk-up with no elevator, limited AC on the first floor only, and mostly single-use bathrooms. Butterfield C is notably home to the All Women Single Gender Floor (rooms 456–465), where students who identify as women can live on a floor that houses only other women-identified residents. The Butterfields share Summerfields dining, a large central courtyard, and common area amenities.
