About Tortuga Hall

Tortuga Hall is a traditional corridor-style first-year residence hall at CSU Monterey Bay. Named for the Spanish word for tortoise, the three-story hall provides double-occupancy rooms with in-suite shared bathrooms for incoming students. Tortuga is part of CSUMB's welcoming first-year residential community, clustered near dining and academic resources. No air conditioning — a coastal climate keeps the building comfortable throughout the academic year.
