Manzanita Hall is a traditional corridor-style first-year residence hall at CSU Monterey Bay, named after the manzanita shrub native to the Central California coast. Standard double rooms with in-suite shared bathrooms serve incoming students. A required meal plan connects first-year residents with the campus dining community, and the coastal climate eliminates the need for air conditioning.
