About Beverly Cleary Hall

Beverly Cleary Hall is a mid-rise residence hall associated with UC Berkeley's Unit 3 residential community, located across Channing Street from the four main Unit 3 towers. Built in 1992 and named for Beverly Cleary, the prize-winning children's book author and UC Berkeley alumna known for the Ramona and Henry Huggins series. Corridor-style double rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Beverly Cleary Hall is home to the Casa Magdalena Mora Theme Program, a community focused on Latinx/Chicanx identity and culture. Slightly newer and smaller than the main Unit 3 towers.
