About Unit 2

Unit 2 is one of UC Berkeley's three primary first-year residence halls, a corridor-style complex on Durant Avenue adjacent to Unit 1. Double and triple rooms share communal floor bathrooms. No air conditioning. Unit 2 houses approximately 1,000 students and includes the Crossroads Dining Commons, which typically serves the largest variety of options on campus. Located at the south edge of campus, steps from Telegraph Avenue, Sproul Plaza, and the main library.
