Clark Kerr Campus is UC Berkeley's apartment-style residential community, situated on a historic 13-acre property southeast of the main campus — formerly the California School for the Deaf. Named for Clark Kerr, Berkeley's transformative Chancellor (1952–58) and later UC President. Clark Kerr houses primarily upperclassmen, graduate students, and international students in two- and four-person apartment-style units. No air conditioning. The campus includes a dining commons, athletic facilities including a pool, and a community garden. Its slightly off-campus location gives it a village-like feel distinct from the central dormitory clusters.
