About Straz Hall

David A. Straz Jr. Hall is an 8-story apartment-style residence for 480+ upper-class students, located adjacent to the university's baseball field and track — making it a favorite for student-athletes. Originally called Stadium Place when it opened in 2003, it was renamed Straz Hall in 2005. Each apartment unit has four single bedrooms, a full kitchen with refrigerator and stove, a shared living area, and one shared bathroom. The first floor offers indoor and outdoor community space for studying and socializing. Upper floors provide views of the Tampa skyline and Hillsborough Bay. Straz Hall residents may elect the 7-meal/week Apartment Plan or a higher-tier plan. Free laundry in-building. Architecture by Robbins Bell & Kreher Architects.
