Frank P. Urso, M.D. Hall is UT's most boutique residential option — an 11-story building housing only approximately 180 upper-class students in single and double studio apartments, each with a private bathroom and mini-kitchen. This is the only residence hall at UT where every unit has a universally private bathroom — making it the top choice for students who want maximum privacy and independence. Originally called Kennedy Place before being renamed Urso Hall in 2008, the building is situated directly across from the main campus entrance on Kennedy Boulevard. Features an urban courtyard and the Garden Room, a dedicated lounge and study space with natural light. Urso Hall residents may choose the 7-meal/week Apartment Plan. Steps from the Hillsborough River and downtown Tampa.
