Units 1 and 2 are adjacent traditional dormitory complexes on the south side of campus, each housing approximately 600 first-year students. Standard corridor-style doubles with communal bathrooms. Each unit has its own dining hall and a range of amenities. The Units are among Berkeley's most popular first-year options thanks to their central location, walkability to campus, and active social communities.
